Planting for the Future: A Day of Fulfilment and Environmental Impact

At Verity, we believe in making a difference—not just in the commercial property sector, but in our communities and environment as well. On the 7th of March, our team had the privilege of participating in a tree-planting event at New House Farm Playing Fields in Bolton–round the corner from our offices–and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who joined us.

From the moment we arrived, there was a real sense of purpose in the air. Armed with spades, gloves, and an eagerness to get our hands dirty, the team worked side by side to plant an incredible 275 trees. The mix of native broadleaf species we planted will take root over the coming years, providing essential biodiversity, improving air quality, and helping create greener, more sustainable urban spaces.

It was more than just a day of planting—it was a day of connection. Connection to nature, to our colleagues, and to the wider community who share our commitment to sustainability. We saw firsthand how small actions can lead to a bigger impact, and that sense of fulfilment is something we’ll carry forward in everything we do.

At Verity, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a responsibility. We are always looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint, whether through our property services, on-demand facilities management, or initiatives like this one. Being part of a project that actively contributes to a greener future reminded us of the power of collective effort.
